I have been a missionary with CEF® since June 2006. Before becoming a missionary I was a preschool teacher at St. Angela's Preschool in Pacific Grove for 17 years.
I felt lead of the Lord to contact past CEF directors Ray and Laura Hastings to volunteer with the ministry of CEF. I trained under the Hastings for a year and then took a step of faith to go into full time ministry with CEF after the Hastings retirement in 2005.
It has been a wonderful adventure serving the Lord in CEF. The Lord has so many wonderful things in store for us when we do step out of our comfort zone. As He shared with me it was going to be one step at a time and each step would be a step of faith.
I love the fact that we are teaching children about the Lord and His love for them. So many of today's youth do not know about this wonderful gift of love He has for them. CEF reaches out to the 80% of the youth that will never enter our churches doors. It is our prayer to train up the next generation that seeks to honor God.
